Kent Danjanovich and Kevin Orton are headed to Saskatchewan, Canada for some early season northern pike, lake trout, and walleye action with Ruffo’s Sportsman’s Lodge. Early June is always a good time to travel north of the border for big pike coming out of the spawn and shallow feeding lake trout right after ice off. See you in a week! Well, we’re back! The fishing was spectacular. We caught over 20 northern pike in the 35 to 30 inch range and four between 40 and 45 inches! The walleye action was unbelievable and lake trout were shallow and aggressive. If you are looking for a great fishing adventure, check out Ruffo’s Sportsman’s Lodge on our website. The fishing for big fish only gets better from now until the end of August, so give them a call today.
