Eberlestock has released two new packs in their hunting line that include built-in Source hydration bladders.
The H7 Dagger pack is a low profile hunting pack, ideal for hauling gear into the back country on your next fair chase hunt. At 1 pound 14 ounces, the Dagger provides 340 cubic inches of storage space, ideal for that small gear that you must have when in the back country. It features Eberlestock’s rugged construction and quality workmanship.
The Dagger is a no-nonsense pack that features Eberlestock’s confortable back venting system with foam mesh ridges to comfortably provide ventilation between the pack and your back. A stowable waist belt allows you to wear the pack with the added support of the waist belt, or to stash the belt so it isn’t dangling when not in use. A series of MOLLE Attachment webbing allows additional gear to be added and also lets you use the optional shotgun/rifle scabbard. It comes with a included Source 2 liter hydration bladder.
The H3 Sawed-Off pack, features a built in hydration sleeve and comes with the 3 liter Source hydration bladder. This roomy 855 cubic inch pack weighs a mere 2 pounds 8 ounces empty, and will accommodate large spotting scopes as well as other gear easily. An outside zippered organizer pocket allows you to easily access more often used gear.
The Sawed-Off has adjustable shoulder straps to allow you to balance your load for more comfortable carrying, as well as to size the straps to users of various height and weight. An adjustable sternum strap lets you where a bino chest harness and still have the comfort of a sternum strap.
MOLLE straps allow the use of the shotgun/rifle scabbard or optional Butt Bucket bow carrier. The Sawed-Off also features the back venting system.
The Source water bladders feature a wide slide opening that is leak proof and allows easy cleaning and filling. They provide a Cool Cover Tube that insulates the drinking tube and keeps out light that can promote bacterial growth. Each baffled bladder folds completely flat when empty but offers a slimmer profile when full. The Storm Valve is easily opened by pulling on it and it is not necessary to bite on it to get water flowing. These valves offer 25 percent more water flow than traditional bight valves. The Dirt Shield valve cover keeps debris and dust off of your drinking valve. These are some of the highest quality water bladders on the market and they are designed for rugged military use and compatible with military drinking and filtration systems. They are a fitting addition to packs with a reputation for quality such as Eberlestock.
