Forum Rifle giveawayImage EnlargerOn Monday, March 30 at Noon, I will be drawing the name of a Silver Forum Member or higher (at least 100 posts) who has joined the Sportsman’s News Pro Membership program to win a Remington Model 783 in 30-06 with a Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14 x 40MM scope.

The list of silver members and higher is less than 500 and of those, only a handful have joined the Pro Member program, so the odds of winning are very good if you become a Pro Member by Monday. I have already pulled the list of Silver Members, so there is no point is making lame posts to try to get your post count up. Those members who already have at least 100 posts can go join the Sportsman’s News Pro Membership program now and not only be entered to win this great rifle package, but also be entered to win all of our $300,000 worth of prizes and amazing hunting trips. Click here to join now and be entered into this drawing.

Thanks for all the kind words guys —– I am really excited, Cant wait to try a few different rounds and brands through it to see what kind of ammo it shoots best!Smile And then log onto Nikon with that rounds info and get the ballistic chart for that scope…. I believe it has a BDC reticale.

Sounds like a good way to spend the Spring.

You’ll even get to see how she performs in the wind.  Laugh

Picked up the Rifle on Saturday……..NICE, should be out this weekend to shoot it and play with the scope, it is not the BDC model but that’s ok,……..,  I will start with setting it about 2 inch high at 100 yards and find out what type and brand it likes in the 180 grain and 150 to 165 grain rounds……..and hopefully I will draw one of the rifle hunts I put in – most were Archery or I will take it to Wyoming on our annual Antelope run this Oct.Smile

Don’t think so.

This one was for forum members who joined the Pro Membership.

Haven’t heard anything about a forum giveaway for May.

I doubt it. If they were, I think they would have announced it by now.

We don’t have a gun to give away with the forum for this month.   I made a post on another thread, but will provide a bit more detailed overview here so everyone knows what is going on.     We launched the Pro Member sweepstakes in March and I asked for some latitude from all of you regulars because this was a major undertaking.    If you are a Pro Member, you know all the good stuff we are giving away and your still in the game.     For those of you that feel that it is too expensive, there is a free option to participate in every drawing.   Just read the rules of each drawing to find out how.

One of the companies that was going to advertise with us and dedicated a bunch of guns for the forum pulled the plug very late in the game and after everything had been agreed upon.    So, we are left short on guns to fulfill everything.   There are legal issues with promoting the Pro Member Sweepstakes and having specific items advertised.    So, I won’t put us in a legal wrangling to appease a few squeaky wheels.    I would love to have you all as Pro Members especially since you all know that we are legit and give away a lot of great stuff.   I’ve personally given away over $100,000 worth of guns and gear over the past 3 to 4 years on this forum.   If the Pro Membership is too expensive at $27 per month, spend .49 cents on a stamp and enter for free.

As soon as we get all the issues worked out and get another sponsor, we will get some guns out through the forum.

Are there any updates on giveaways for the forum?  I see that it has been about a month since the last post for this topic.

And to be fair there is a way to enter all the Pro Membership draws for free, well almost free. If you read all the rules you can still enter for the drawings without paying for the Membership. You have to hand jam a 3×5 card with entry information and pay the price of a stamp to send in your entry. A lot cheaper then the membership deal and still an opportunity to win; most of the time it looks like there are two or more drawing a month.

Those who would sacrafice their freedom for a little bit of security deserve neither.
