Wildlife is our passion! There aren’t too many things we enjoy more than being on a bare ridge on a cool, crisp fall morning looking for trophy bulls and bucks. We have 21 years of experience in the outfitting and guiding industry, and we really enjoy what we do. We manage thousands of acres of private hunting ground throughout the state of Utah, and we are licensed to guide on public land in Utah. We offer quality fair-chase hunts for Trophy Mule Deer, Elk, Shiras Moose and Mountain Lions. Our muzzleloader and rifle hunts run 5 days, and combination and archery hunts run 6 days. We have guaranteed tags on most of our ranches through the CWMU (Cooperative Wildlife Management Unit) Program. We run professional, high-quality hunting camps with knowledgeable and experienced guides. Our guides share the same passion we have for the great outdoors, and they work as hard as we do to provide you with the hunt of a lifetime. Come hunt with J&J Outfitters and “Make It Happen!”

Jed and Jenni Wayment who own J and J have been delivering successful private and public land hunts in the state of Utah for 20 plus years now. I have personally hunted elk and mule deer with them on two separate occasions. I have also been fortunate enough to tag along on some of their premium ranches for trophy bulls during the heat of the rut and capture the entire episode on film for SNTV. Some of these ranches are nothing short of spectacular. I have seen hundreds of bulls in a given day screaming all day long and providing a hunt of a lifetime. J and J manages most of their ranches for extreme quality with a few managed for quantity and a lower priced hunt to accommodate the lower end budget hunters. At the end of each hunting season when the clients have moved on and are planning for their next year, the team at J and J outfitters focuses their operation on predator control as well as a winter feed program. The winters in the northern part of Utah can be extreme in some cases and the winter feed program established by J and J outfitters many years ago has made sure that clients have a great experience and success each and every year when hunting with them. If you have a tag in Utah or want to purchase a hunt, I would always give J and J Outfitters a call. – written by Michael Deming
